Queen of Clarity – January 2025

Queen of Clarity - Marlene Swetlishoff - Janine Keall

Beloved Ones,

I come on the wings of love! I wish to address the art of living a life which brings joy and happiness. Happy people are content and feel good about life. While they often strive for more in life and set goals to achieve greater heights of success, their identity and purpose isn’t tied to what they do, or achieve, or accomplish, or own. There is an internal sense that they enjoy being who they are and traveling the road of life they’re on, even as they keep taking the road that keeps climbing higher. Happy people have a peaceful inner calm about them. They are at peace with their conscience, their thoughts and their pasts, no matter how pain-filled those pasts may have been. They are no longer prisoners to their pasts or knocked around by circumstance. They feel good about who they are and what they can accomplish. They are confident they can learn what is necessary to achieve what they set out to achieve. They like themselves and have faith that they can deal with the challenges of life as necessary. They often have deeply fulfilling and rewarding spiritual lives and experiences as well, which adds to the overall sense of the purpose and meaning of life.

They have a quiet assurance that they are not victims of circumstance. They know that it takes practice to cultivate ongoing happiness. They see themselves as having the ability to choose their own direction and destination. They have a strong sense of fulfillment in knowing they are doing what they were meant to do and becoming what they were meant to become. They see the beauty and the richness of life and engage and enjoy it and are grateful for it.  They find joy in the simple things, the daily things, the things most people too often take for granted. Happy people have diverse interests, are curious, and seek to learn, explore, discover and experience.  They don’t compromise their integrity to appeal to the crowd or to the pressure of others’ expectations. They stand firmly on principle and values. They treat themselves respectfully in word and deed as much as they respect others to treat them that way. They have have little inclination to undermine the respect they hold themselves and others in, as God created souls.

Happy people relish life’s experiences. They take advantage of them and seek them out, planning them into their schedules. They have a disposition which has been studiously developed over time that pays more attention to the good and the beautiful. They see awe, wonder and humor too, in so much of their daily existence. They feel positive and see things positively. They accept that life is imperfect and recognize that there is beauty and grace in that imperfection, that the joy of life is in the daily journey and engagement of it. They spend time using their imagination and being creative, and have more enthusiasm within them because of it. They are likely to have feelings of long-term happiness and well-being. Such creative activities can include painting, drawing, writing, and musical performance, but the diversity of the gifts that people bring to the world include so many potentials and other skills such as healing, counseling, cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, creativity, woodworking and designing (clothing, buildings, etc.) Each person has many unique talents, skills, accomplishments and gifts to share with others.

Giving thanks and being grateful for all they have makes them happier and more content. Gratitude is a thankful appreciation for what one has received in life. Those gifts may be tangible or intangible, but by acknowledging each day all that is good in their life, they see there is more good right where they are than they realized.  Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions to relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships with others who are of like mind. Gratitude is a way for people to appreciate what they have instead of always reaching for something new in the hopes it will make them happier.  Gratitude helps people refocus on what they have instead of what they lack. There is actually very little that is needed to make a happy life; it is all within oneself in their way of thinking and perspective. They accept things as they are and strive for more but are content with less.

They give back because they have learned that nothing brings more fulfillment than the feeling of helping someone else. They surround themselves with positive people. They create their own environment by putting self in a place that will help them to grow, not suppress their growth. They spend more time with the people who support their dreams, values and their true authentic self. As they unlock their hidden potential, they live a richer life of greater purpose and meaning, a life filled with infinite possibility and more soul satisfying happiness than they ever dreamt was possible. It is very important to keep one’s motivation and self-esteem up, to live a happier life. Saying yes to being open to the good things in life and growing as a person plays a big role when it comes to happiness. Saying yes to being imperfect is very freeing – by letting go of the need to be perfect, they are able to relax and be their true authentic, brilliant spark of the Divine, living a soul-filled life, a life well-lived.
